Basketball goals are shipped by truck (motor freight), not UPS or FedEx. Padding is shipped via UPS or Fed Ex.
The trucking company will call you to set up a delivery date. We will provide you with the truck company information. The day you agree with the carrier, make sure someone is home. The trucking company will deliver the packages to your home (curbside delivery).
The trucks will not pull up onto your driveway. They stop in front of your home at the end or your driveway (curbside delivery). The person that is home is required to sign for and help unload the boxes off of the truck. (The driver does not have to help).
It is the customer's responsibility to examine/inspect all boxes. If any boxes are torn, ripped, or open, make sure you indicate so on the receipt (which box has the damage). That way if anything is wrong or missing, your are covered, then call us to report this.
If there was any damage upon delivery, DO NOT REFUSE SHIPMENT, just make sure that you signed your receipt stating the damage and that your have reported the box or part damaged to us.
Make sure you sign your name only if all boxes are there that states you should have received. If you are missing a box or two, write this on your receipt and call us. Any ripped or torn boxes should be open and inspected immediately by the customer (within 72 hours of delivery).
